This NEVER happens! Ironic how I spend more time on Tumblr during school than during the summer… haha.

Heck, we are in a time where Helium, the second most abundant element in the universe, is in short supply.
Many here, whom I have personally spoke to and listened to, have expressed sentiments that a good portion of these crazy happenings don’t really concern them, and nor do they care. And that’s fair; I hold no grudge or worry for people who feel that some of these things just don’t apply to them.
But the point I’m trying to make isn’t to actively get involved in politics or to care about said events, even if it’s something everyone should at least try to read about, but instead to focus on what type of environment we have been living in, in order to properly confront the outside world that is, in all honesty, all too happy to rip people apart.” —Kevin Ye
Seriously… spontaneous plans at 11:30pm on a weekday?! This can either end REALLY bad or REALLY good.
LEGGO!
I might as well call it a desktop, cause that’s where it will forever stay. Screw you PC battery life =[

I thought this line made a lot of sense, and it was actually quite comforting. Right now with junior year coming so close to an end all I can hear everyone talk about is college college college college. I see so many people stressing about where they want to go or whether they get into a prestigious, top dog university. It’s all names in my point of view. I mean yeah there is a huge difference between a university and say a community college but just because you attend a community college doesn’t mean anything. Junior year wasn’t as stressful as a lot of people told me it would be, it was definitely a tough year but I enjoyed myself (= I’m proud of everything I have accomplished and I look forward to next year! I’m not worried about where I end up going to for college. I know where ever I am, I’m gonna freaken kick ass. Not to sound all conceited but I think as long as you know what you’re doing and you put in the effort and heart, you can be successful just about ANYWHERE.
A year younger than me, but you hold so many of the same sentiments. Interesting how that came about.

Throughout my entire life I was told to be a good kid and that if I do good in school I would get in a good college and be happy. So far I’m 2 for 2, I’ll let you figure out which is which. For a while I was debating on whether or not I wanted to walk down the aisle on that Graduation night. Sure I sound stupid, at least that’s what everyone I ever mentioned this too has told me. But why is Graduation so important, so necessary, so freakin idolized? I mean once you get your diploma you’re just sitting there waiting for everyone else’s name to be called. Your 15 seconds of fame, are just that… 15 seconds (If that). A little short moment, some applause, and a handshake with Mrs. Heinrich to wrap up all 4 years, the countless hours you spent studying or not, and that other stuff.. For those of you that think I’m completely stupid right now, that’s fine haha, I think I’m a little delusional right now anyways. But yeah back to the main point, what? What do we do it for? My guess is that we busted our asses for 4 years, put up with all the crap that high school life brought us and we do deserve our moment in the limelight, for however long that may be.
Because that is the final moment when it all ends. You may be mentally and emotionally done with your 12 years of public schooling (high school, the studying, the effort), but it doesn’t completely end till you’ve got the piece of card stock with the word “diploma” in your hand.
To me, I think that’s worth celebrating.
